And what to say about this guy? One of the most quoted people in history of the Balkan States. When I was young, I wished that he would stop stealing, later when I got older I regreted that he did. He was a secret agent with the biggest flaw, too big for my taste, but when I know the world better, I realise he was the most realistic character of them all.

Here's the thing: I loved to draw him, but I don't like the guy. At the same time, Number One has enriched the comic and contributed to prolonging it's era, but also making him the central character was a mistake that made the comic worse in later episodes.

The character who I feel doesn't get enough credit... Fans of the comic more often mention other character, but I personally think that his gags and misfortunes gave this series life and made it stand out.

After a big pause, we switch to a different publisher, with characters that all belong to a single comic series and the same group, both all together left a mark on me while growing up: Group TNT. Titular character, Alan Ford was my favourite at the beginning, while he was in the centre of the stories. Although the comic became better when they moved Alan asside, it was still unfortunate and wrong to change his persona
